Against this background, the initiators hereby drawn within the framework of the Xinnovations 2010 for the first time offered the workshop “Semantic technologies for knowledge workers”. It was in the center of the workshop to deal with the consequences of these upheavals and looking for where there are overlaps and synergies between the technical possibilities of the Semantic Web on the one hand and the human skills to find and manipulate information and knowledge on the other.
