Boston Lee Day March 2009 was well attended, and memberships sold like hotcakes. Stephen Harper was in attendance again, he was leaning heavy to his left, but to our right for most of the event. I don't think we'll invite him back again.
As I'm sure you are aware, this was the second Boston Lee Appreciation Day of the three that will make 2009 the first Triple Lee Year. The Triple Lee Year occurs 3 times in every 28 year cycle, with the next Triple Lee Year in 2015. There are never more than three Boston Lee Days in a calendar year, and never less than 1. I expect by the next Triple Lee in 2015, Boston Lee Day will be a well known international event. At midnight, we we even had an ode to Pi Day. Pi day is always on March 14th, or 3.14. We chose cherry as it fit in with the Boston Lee theme colours.
There was some unexpected drama during the evening, you can refer to Black List above, but in the end it was still an excellent event, and I look forward to the next one in November.
